D is a Chinese American who has been treated with acupunture and herbs and other forms of Chinese medicine all her life.  Through early introduction and success with acupuncture as an eight-year old child, D internalized the notion that it was possible for some types of intense and chronic pain to be healed when medication or surgery may not be an option.

In addition to establishing her practice in Mount Airy and Center City, D has had the opportunity to intern with acupuncturists at the Continuum Center for Health and Healing in the Department of Medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City as well as the Myrna Brind Center of Integrative Health at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.
