The Graston Technique®

All of FitLife's Physical Therapists have been certified in the Graston Technique®, a method used to treat many soft tissue injuries.  In this form of treatment, the physical therapist uses stainless steel instruments to comb over and "catch" onto fibrotic tissue, which immediately identifies tissue dysfunction and areas of restriction. It breaks down scar tissue so it can be absorbed by the patient's body, and helps reduce inflammation that causes pain in the affected area. These tools have been clinically proven to achieve quicker and better outcomes when treating many diagnoses including Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Tennis or Golfer's Elbow, Shin Splints, Scar Tissue, Trigger Finger, and Post Mastectomy and Caesarean Scarring. Also treatable are common neck, back, shoulder, knee and foot pain.

Using this simple tool technology, the Graston Technique® has had positive outcomes in up to 90% of all conditions treated. The technique is used and recognized by leading industry health care providers, leading colleges and universities, and by sports teams on the amateur and professional levels nationwide.
